Summary

	Shortly before Imperial fleet has arrived to Hoth Hoth Planet , the landing of one of scouting Viper droids Arakyd Viper Probe Droid Droid was briefly witnessed by Luke Skywalker Luke Skywalker (Human) Character Major Characters during one of his patrols, believing it to be a meteorite. He was unable to investigate the issue further before he and his tauntaun Tauntaun Creature Non-sentient were ambushed by a wampa Wampa Creature Semi-sentient . Skywalker managed to escape the wampa cave, also amputating one of the occupant's arms in the process, although he was left barely alive from the encounter due to both the attack as well as from being caught in the blizzard.
